THE POWER OFFER

What is it?

A direct offer for a conversation -- if the prospect is in pain -- that leans heavily on proof of client results.

Why does it work?

This message opens the door to a conversation, in a non-salesly way, while showing proof of client results as a payoff measure.

The Message

NAME, quick question for you.

I’m looking to speak with [audience] who are looking for [outcome] in the next [timeframe].

If that’s you -- wondering if you’d be open to a short exploratory conversation?

Nothing to sell at this stage. Would love to hear more about what you’re up to -- and happy to share what I’m finding is working well for clients in a similar position.

Let me know if that’s of interest?

P.S. Here are some of my client results:

> Result #1

> Result #2

> Result #3

THE CONVERSATION STARTER

What is it?

Asking targeted questions that spark a conversation centered around pains.

Why does it work?

It gives the prospect an easy way to engage in a casual conversation.

The Message

Quick question -- I’ve been hearing from a lot of Product folks who are tired of being seen as project managers responsible for implementing people’s requests and opinions.

Managing stakeholders, accessing customer problems, and …… all seem to be pain points.

Curious if any of this is a concern for you?

Just looking to gather some data from folks like you who are on the front lines.

If you have a minute, drop me a quick reply and let me know :)

THE INTERVIEW REQUEST

What is it?

Ask the prospect to participate in an interview that will be published on LinkedIn.

Why does it work?

It gives the prospect a chance to talk about themselves and gives you an easy way to get into a relationship and then pivot the conversation towards a discovery.

The Message

NAME, I’m looking to record a series of interviews with leaders in the construction industry. Taking a closer look at your profile, I thought you might be a good fit.

It’ll be a short conversation (20-30 mins) and we’ll record it on zoom.

Would you be open?

NAME, quick question for you.

I'm conducting a series of interviews profiling leaders of digital consultancies.

We're going to explore growth strategies, values, outlook on the industry, etc.

It'll be a fun chat and a useful piece of thought leadership to share with your network (I will be sharing with mine as well).

I've already had some excellent conversations with: NAMES
